New Defibrillator Installed at Oakmere

Recently, the Town Council agreed to purchase and install a new life saving public access defibrillator.

This new defibrillator has been installed at the Oakmere Extra Care centre on Spath Lane.

Many thanks also go to Your Housing Group for allowing the Town Council to install this defibrillator on the exterior of their building and to for their maintenance team for supplying power to the unit.

The unit will remain the property of the Town Council and will be serviced as such and as it is public access, anyone in the area who might need the unit in an emergency can do.

Town Councillors Susan Moore & Beryl Chapman are pictured, along with Steph Austin from Your Housing Group, who have brought this project to fruition.
