Town Councillors are summoned to attend the Meeting of Handforth Town Council (HTC) on Tuesday 14th January 2025 at 7:30pm at The Youth Centre, Old Road, Handforth.
An audio recording of the meeting will be taken and provided upon request to the Town Clerk.

25/03/1 To receive apologies for absence.
25/03/2 To note Declarations of interest and requests for dispensation to discuss or discuss and vote on a matter in which a member or co-opted Member has a Disclosable Pecuniary or non-pecuniary interest (DPI).
25/03/3 Open Forum- Comment and questions concerning items on this agenda may be put to the Council by the public during this period. Matters which, in the Chair’s view require debate and/or a discussion will be referred to the next Committee/Council meeting, as appropriate. Items not pertaining to the agenda may also be taken at this time at the Chair’s discretion. The Public Forum is restricted to 15 minutes and strictly 3 minutes per person unless the Chair allows otherwise.
25/03/4 To approve and sign the minutes of the Handforth Town Council meeting of 10th December 2024.
25/03/5 To approve and sign the order of payments for January 2025.
25/03/6 To receive a report from the PCSO.
25/03/7 To receive any reports from Handforth Ward Councillors.
25/03/8 MOTION: To agree HTC support for the VE Day 80th anniversary on 08th May 2025, to agree a
working group of members and to authorise the clerk to spend up to the allocated budget of £3,000.00 for the event. (Cllr Susan Moore).
25/03/9 MOTION: To agree to formalise arrangements with Alderley Edge Parish Council in accordance
with the 24/25 interim internal audit in the event of long-term sickness of the clerk from
either council. (Cllr Susan Moore).
25/03/10 MOTION: To receive recommendation from the finance committee regarding a grant
application from St Benedict’s Primary School for the provision of SEND equipment.
Grant requested up to £2,000.00. (Grant liaison members).
25/03/11 MOTION: To agree HTC support for the R200 event marking the 200th anniversary marking
the birth of the Railway with events happening throughout 2025. (Cllr Small).
25/03/12 MOTION: To agree to write to Jones Homes with the attached letter to request comment on recent flooding events on Hall Road. (Cllr Small).
25/03/13 To receive notices and correspondence.
25/03/14 To agree the date of the next HTC Full Council meeting to be held on 11th February 2025.
