Town Councillors are summoned to attend the Meeting of Handforth Town Council (HTC) on Tuesday 08th October 2024 at 7:30pm at The Youth Centre, Old Road, Handforth.
An audio recording of the meeting will be taken and provided upon request to the Town Clerk.

24/21/1 To receive apologies for absence.
24/21/2 To note Declarations of interest and requests for dispensation to discuss or discuss and vote on a matter in which a member or co-opted Member has a Disclosable Pecuniary or non-pecuniary interest (DPI).
24/21/3 Open Forum- Comment and questions concerning items on this agenda may be put to the Council by the public during this period. Matters which, in the Chair’s view require debate and/or a discussion will be referred to the next Committee/Council meeting, as appropriate. Items not pertaining to the agenda may also be taken at this time at the Chair’s discretion. The Public Forum is restricted to 15 minutes and strictly 3 minutes per person unless the Chair allows otherwise.
24/21/4 To approve and sign the minutes of the Handforth Town Council meeting of 10th September 2024.
24/21/5 To approve and sign the order of payments for October 2024.
24/21/6 To receive a report from the PCSO.
24/21/7 To receive a report from the Friends of Handforth Station.
24/21/8 MOTION: To receive and accept the External Auditors report in respect to financial year end 31st March 2024.
24/21/9 MOTION: To receive recommendation from the HTC finance committee and to agree the 25 – 26 financial year budget.
24/21/10 MOTION: To receive recommendation from the HTC finance committee and agree to set the 25-26 financial year precept.
24/21/11 MOTION: To support residents of Oakmere against the closure, by Cheshire East Council of the on-site restaurant. (Item Deferred from previous meeting).
24/21/12 MOTION: In October 2023 HTC provided the MAG Bus with a donation of £500.00 does HTC wish to make this an annual donation? (Cllr Susan Moore).
24/21/13 MOTION: To agree the purchase and installation of 4 x new litter bins in Handforth up to a maximum value of £1,100.00 plus VAT & Delivery. (Cllr Susan Moore).
24/21/14 MOTION: To discuss the possibility of installing a Handrail onto the steep part of the path on Hall Road. (Cllr Small).
24/21/15 To receive an update from Cllr Susan Moore regarding a recent network meeting regarding CEC Transformational Change. (Cllr Susan Moore).
24/21/16 To receive notices and correspondence.
- To note the Town Council Newsletter will be distributed from 07th October 2024.
- To note that the Handforth Remembrance Sunday Parade will take place on Sunday 10th November 2024.
24/21/17 To agree the date of the next HTC Full Council meeting to be held on 12th November 2024.
