Town Councillors are summoned to attend the Meeting of Handforth Town Council (HTC) on Tuesday 15th July 2025 at 7:30pm at The Youth Centre, Old Road, Handforth.
An audio recording of the meeting will be taken and provided upon request to the Town Clerk.

25/18/1 To receive apologies for absence.
25/18/2 To note Declarations of interest and requests for dispensation to discuss or discuss and vote on a matter in which a member or co-opted Member has a Disclosable Pecuniary or non-pecuniary interest (DPI).
25/18/3 Open Forum- Comment and questions concerning items on this agenda may be put to the Council by the public during this period. Matters which, in the Chair’s view require debate and/or a discussion will be referred to the next Committee/Council meeting, as appropriate. Items not pertaining to the agenda may also be taken at this time at the Chair’s discretion. The Public Forum is restricted to 15 minutes and strictly 3 minutes per person unless the Chair allows otherwise.
25/18/4 To approve and sign the minutes of the Handforth Town Council meeting of 10th June 2025.
25/18/5 To approve and sign the order of payments for July & August 2025.
25/18/6 To receive a report from the PCSO.
25/18/7 To receive a report from the Chair of Handforth Town Council.
25/18/8 MOTION: For all HTC members to consider any projects which they might wish to undertake in the next financial year, these to be approved at the September HTC meeting with a view to inclusion in the 26/27 financial year budget. Budget to be set in October 2025 along with any necessary adjustment to the precept to reflect these projects. (Cllr Susan Moore).
25/18/9 MOTION: To agree to the creation of an overarching Handforth Open Spaces group. The group to form a working group under the banner of HTC but would operate independently of the council to assist in the maintenance of all Handforth’s open spaces. (Cllr Susan Moore).
25/18/10 To receive an update on the plans for the installation of the two new access lifts at Handforth Station. (Cllr Small).
25/18/11 To receive an update from the Communications working group. (Cllrs Peter Moore & Harrison).
25/18/12 To receive notices and correspondence.
25/18/13 To agree the date of the next HTC Full Council meeting to be held on 09th September 2025 at 7:00pm.
