Town Councillors are summoned to attend the Meeting of Handforth Town Council (HTC) on Tuesday 09th December 2025 at 7:00pm at The Youth Centre, Old Road, Handforth.
An audio recording of the meeting will be taken and provided upon request to the Town Clerk.

25/27/1 To receive apologies for absence.
25/27/2 To note Declarations of interest and requests for dispensation to discuss or discuss and vote on a matter in which a member or co-opted Member has a Disclosable Pecuniary or non-pecuniary interest (DPI).
25/27/3 Open Forum- Comment and questions concerning items on this agenda may be put to the Council by the public during this period. Matters which, in the Chair’s view require debate and/or a discussion will be referred to the next Committee/Council meeting, as appropriate. Items not pertaining to the agenda may also be taken at this time at the Chair’s discretion. The Public Forum is restricted to 15 minutes and strictly 3 minutes per person unless the Chair allows otherwise.
25/27/4 To approve and sign the minutes of the Handforth Town Council meeting of 11th November 2025.
25/27/5 To approve and sign the order of payments for December 2025.
25/27/6 To receive a report from the PCSO.
25/27/7 To receive and approve the internal auditors interim audit report for 25/26.
25/27/8 MOTION: To agree the dates for the HTC meetings to be held in 2026.
25/27/9 MOTION: To receive a quotation from JDH Business Services for Data Protection Services following on from the interim internal audit report for £834.00 pus VAT.
25/27/10 MOTION: To agree the HTC response to the recent announcement by the Chief Constable of Cheshire Constabulary to reduce the number of PCSO’s in Cheshire from 87 to 27 and submit a response to the current consultation. (Cllr Susan Moore).
25/27/11 MOTION: To agree the purchase of a new laptop to the Youth Centre Caretaker to administer bookings / website etc up to a maximum value of £700 plus VAT. (Cllr Susan Moore).
25/27/12 To receive any update from the communications working group. (Cllr Peter Moore).
25/27/13 To receive notices and correspondence.
- To receive an update on the recent meeting with representatives from the Handforth Garden Village team.
25/27/14 To agree the date of the next HTC Full Council meeting to be held on 13th January 2026 at 7:30pm.
